Home Remedies for Genital Warts
Genital warts appear after someone has contracted the Human Papilloma Virus also known as HPV.
They appear in the genital areas of the body like the vagina, penis, anus, cervix, scrotum, vulva
and rectum. Most people are embarrassed when they get genital warts and do not want to go to a
doctor to get treatment. The good news is there are many home remedies for genital warts. The
following list shows the many different home remedies for genital warts
treatment.
Vitamin E This is a very simple home remedy treatment for genital warts. You
apply vitamin E directly to the infected areas. It is recommended that the area has been cleaned
and dried before applying the Vitamin E. You should never apply Vitamin E over any lotion that has
been applied to the infected areas.
Baking Soda and Castor Oil
Baking soda and castor oil are 2 ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen panty. The
baking soda is the primary ingredient that is used to remove the genital warts. The castor oil is
included to relieve any irritation that you might have from the genital warts. This is why you mix
the two ingredients together. The mixture is then applied directly to the infected areas.
Garlic
Applying a piece of garlic directly to the infected area might sound like the craziest home
remedies for genital warts. It is surprisingly effective despite the negative impression people
have when they first hear of it. You apply a piece of garlic – make sure it is peeled – directly to
the infected area. The garlic has to be secured in place by a piece of tape. It is recommended to
leave this in place over night.
Vinegar
Vinegar is a home remedies for genital warts that is mainly used by females. Vinegar can be
purchased at any local grocery store or most convenience stores. It is recommended that the vinegar
is diluted with water before application. If you apply the vinegar without dilution, it can
possibly cause some irritation to the skin. You apply the diluted vinegar directly to the infected
area. It is used as a wash to treat the genital warts.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera can be applied just like Vitamin E. Aloe Vera can come in either a cream or oil mixture.
It does not matter which one that you use. The Aloe Vera is applied directly the genital warts. It
is recommended to keep the Aloe Vera applied for some time before it is washed off.
Banana
This is another unusual home remedies for genital warts treatment. You actually do not use the
banana itself but instead use the banana peel. The banana peel is applied like the garlic listed
above. You place the banana peel directly on the infected area. The peel has to be secured with a
piece of tape. The banana peel can be applied and remain in place over night and removed in the
morning. Like the application of garlic, the banana peel can be quite effective in the treatment of
genital warts.
